There are a few things I’ve always loved: fashion, beauty and a good story. When I first created the Naked Beauty Podcast, I approached it as an experiment of sorts and asked: what would it be like to make the podcast that I wish existed, and to help tell the stories of people who, like me, view beauty, wellness, and fashion as way to express themselves, vs. something that’s more of a utility?

When I started Naked Beauty in 2016, I was seeking an outlet for my own creativity and expression; putting together a LOOK is a highlight of the day for me – I love experimenting with my hair, personal style and approach to makeup and skincare, – these are some of the key ways I share my personal point of view – and I love people who take risks with their own self-expression and am always curious about what motivates them to do what they do. Naked Beauty began as a way to connect with people who have a similar approach to these things, and a love for the practice of living through the lens of beauty and wellness.

I have long known that there is something special about that connection we have with our own regimens and beauty routines, something that makes it worth discussing for hours and it’s the reason I started this podcast, and the community that my listeners have built around Naked Beauty is something I am in awe of and inspired by every day.

Welcome to Naked Beauty; we’re happy you’re here.

This is not a podcast that centers reviews and tutorials. We don’t have beauty experts coming on and telling you what to do. Instead, we’re focused on the experience of beauty and self-care. We dive deep into the ways that our personal perspectives on beauty tie into our daily experience, what calls us to certain beauty rituals and what we’ve learned from the people in our lives that connect us as a community of beauty and self-care lovers.
